| These songs are a reflection on a new style of evangelization and mission: to put back into a world which struggles to live Christian values, the value of a person created by God and above all others and to consider everyone as a brother and a sister; it seems urgent to hear the call of God who invites his disciples, consecrated and lay people, young and not so young, men and women, to open new ways and have the COURAGE TO TAKE RISKS by new ways of being which can speak of love, of justice and of communion, breaking the day to day stereotypes, creating multicultural relationships which are respectful and enriching, facing situations where people are marginalized with the courage and ways of thinking of the gospel, facing the indifference, discrimination, hedonism and utilitarianism of today’s society, giving of oneself to be leaven in the mass and builders of life rather than of death, bearers of joy and hope and not empty words and vain gestures, because this is what the God of love and of life hopes from the humanity he made in his image. If we believe… we shall ask from him the courage to take risks in today’s world, where we are, where he has sent us.

| "Women of the Gospel in the dream of Comboni".
The collection of songs called “Women of the Gospel” came to birth in the mission as the result of a reflection on the feminine dimension of the Combonian charism. It expresses the way in which we come into contact with people as women; the way we share in their sufferings and their hopes. We come to share in their deepest wounds and seek to care for them with the delicacy of a mother and the daring of Comboni. This way of journeying alongside the people is peculiar to women and we Comboni Missionary Sisters do this by walking in the footsteps of those who have gone before us, Daniel Comboni, Giuseppa Scandola and many others.
