La Nostra Storia
L'Istituto è nato (1872) dalla forte necessità avvertita dal Comboni di integrare la presenza della DONNA CONSACRATA nell'apostolato della Nigrizia. (RdV 9,1)
Si è sviluppato tra passato e presente grazie alla dedizione e alla passione missionaria di tante "donne del Vangelo".

The Institute of the Missionary Sisters "Pie Madri della Nigrizia" is a religious-missionary family that continues and actualizes in the Church the charism of the Founder, Saint Daniel Comboni, dedicating itself entirely to the "ad gentes" mission.

Our History
The Institute was born (1872) from the strong necessity felt by Comboni to integrate the presence of the CONSECRATED WOMAN in the apostolate of Nigrizia. (RdV 9,1)
It has developed between past and present thanks to the dedication and missionary passion of many "women of the Gospel".
