Towards the end of every year AEFJN holds its AGM. Convened by the Executive Committee based in Rome the AGM is an opportunity to share the joys and challenges of the work of the network through the Secretariat based in Brussels. It is also an opportunity for contact persons from different member Congregations to meet and share their views on the network, review their commitment to it and the way forward.
More than ever before, member Congregations are invited to more commitment in the advocacy field. Why more than ever before? The covid 19 pandemic has shown and aggravated more injustices and the Gospel values we uphold are very necessary in the advocacy field. We are called to be more alert and attentive as governments might put in place policies that suppress more the poor in trying to counteract the consequences of the pandemic on the economy. Get more information on what is going on from the AEFJN website at www.aefjn.org and subscribe to the monthly newsletter.
